Facebook vs. Second Life?

In the swedish post I ask the question; will 3D worlds like Second Life threaten the dominance of social communities like Facebook and Myspace in the future? If so when? What do you think?

    I believe the bebos/myspace/facebook will always exist in that form as long as most internet usage like ebay youtube remain as pages rather than interactable worlds. If these uses are used by the main stream in a second life type world then social networking communities will switch to this form also. Other wise they will stay browser based :/
